Doug Fieldhouse
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Doug Fieldhouse was a founding investor in Vesta in 1995 and was appointed president and chief executive officer in May 1997. Prior to Vesta, Doug spent 15 years engaged in building and leading businesses in the US, Europe, and Asia. His experiences include building and operating law firms, international non-profits, and high-tech enterprises. He has worked closely with a number of Fortune 500 companies and leading international financial institutions. Since joining Vesta, Doug has been recognized as an entrepreneur, leader and innovator, and was named Ernst & Young's 2009 Pacific Northwest Entrepreneur Of The Year®. Additionally, he received the 2008 Entrepreneurship Award for Individual Achievement from the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network and has been previously recognized by Computerworld, Fast Company, and Inc. magazines. He is a featured author in Smart Business Growth, a book by CEOs of fast-growing companies on strategies and methods behind successful growth and holds two US patents. Doug earned a BA degree in International Relations from Antioch College.

Tracy Metzger
Chief Operating Officer

Tracy Metzger directs operational improvements across Vesta's global technology, product management, service delivery, payments, and account management functions. He brings over 20 years of senior executive experience in the payments industry, most recently as CIO of North American Bankcard where he led worldwide operations in supporting nearly 300,000 merchants. Tracy has also been president and chief technology officer at TGate Payments, president and CIO of Abanco International, a payments and technology company, as well as CIO of Gate Gourmet and VP of IT at Concord EFS, among other positions. He is a featured speaker at industry conferences and his commentary is regularly sought by leading technology, payments, and business news publications. Tracy holds a degree in Telecommunications Management.

Tom Nebel
Chief Financial Officer

With over 15 years of international financial experience, Tom Nebel oversees Vesta's corporate financial reporting, treasury, tax, audit, and internal accounting operations. Before joining Vesta, he served in the UK as a financial reporting consultant for Flint Group and as the US GAAP accountant for Central European Media Enterprises (CME). Tom also spent five years in the external audit department with KPMG in the Czech Republic and the US. Nebel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration — Accounting from Gonzaga University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Richard Hanlon
SVP and GM, Europe and Telco

Richard Hanlon oversees Vesta's global Telco business operations. Richard brings over 20 years of experience in development and operations with global blue chip companies that provide outsourced technology services. Prior to joining Vesta, Richard was group president — Europe at Benchmark Electronics, a leading Engineering Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider. While there, Richard managed subsidiaries in multiple Western European locations and established the company's presence in Eastern Europe. Earlier, Richard was a director at Matsushita (Panasonic) where he was responsible for establishing the hard disk drive division and later served as general manager of the company's European operations. Richard holds a Master of Human Resource Strategies from Dublin City University in Ireland.

Eric Hopper
Chief Technology Officer

Eric Hopper leads Vesta's global engineering team and works closely with Operations, IT, Accounting, and Business Development groups to develop and launch new products and services. Eric brings over 30 years of engineering experience to his role and has been recognized as an inventor on two Vesta patents. Before joining Vesta in 1995, Eric supported the Data Management team for U.S. Bank, where he led the institution's efforts to bring cross-sell automation features to five states in the Pacific Northwest.

Martha King
VP of Human Resources

Martha King directs Vesta's Human Resources efforts globally. Martha brings over 15 years of strategic human resources expertise to Vesta, having supported technology, manufacturing, insurance, and financial services organizations and helped to lead them in organizational design and effective people management. Just prior to joining Vesta, Martha was the Regional Vice President of Human Resources for bibliotheca, a leader in Library technology. Prior to that, she worked at ACI, a worldwide leader in payment solutions, supporting the On Demand business unit and, before that she was at CGI, one of the largest global consulting companies worldwide, leading all recruitment, workforce management, and human resources for the healthcare division. Martha earned a BS in Business Marketing from Central Connecticut State University and a MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from University of New Haven.

Jonathan Le
Chief Risk and Data Officer

Jonathan Le has over 15 years of broad experiences in payment fraud, predictive modeling, payments, and identity management. He is the leader for Vesta's data and risk management teams including the analytic scientists that build and manage the high performance fraud solution that enables Vesta to indemnify billions of dollars in transaction volume annually. Previously, Jonathan was a research scientist at the University of South Carolina and has also served as a principal investigator for a National Science Foundation program, working with a team of leading international scientists in oceanography. Jonathan earned a BS degree in Geophysics from Tong-Ji University, Shanghai, China and a PhD degree in Geophysics from the University of Cambridge in the UK.

Rodrigo Naranjo
SVP and GM, Latin America

Rodrigo Naranjo oversees Vesta's Latin American operations. With more than 20 years of experience in strategy, sales, operations, and finance, Rodrigo has held senior leadership positions for a number of technology businesses across the globe. Prior to joining Vesta, Rodrigo was chief operating officer for Tristar Group, a Dubai-based leader in logistics technology. While there, he managed the Group's operations across 18 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. He also served as vice president of Gulf Business Machines and director of IBM Global Technology Services, transforming both organizations into high-growth cloud and managed services businesses. Rodrigo earned an MA in Financial Economics from the University of Essex and an MBA in Business Administration from New York University.

Rocky Scales
SVP and GM, E-commerce

Rocky Scales leads Vesta's global e-commerce business development efforts. With over 20 years of senior leadership experience in sales and marketing, Rocky has established and executed enterprise growth strategies for leading e-payments, technology and mobile businesses. Most recently, Rocky was SVP, Sales for SheerID, a digital verification SaaS provider for merchants. He also served as VP, Global Sales for Ondot Systems, an international supplier of credit card management products for consumers and issuers. Rocky also supported Product Marketing and Sales for over nine years at Hewlett-Packard, and developed the OEM distribution channel at Musicmatch, inventors of the digital jukebox. Rocky holds a BA in Business from University of San Diego and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Patrick S. Jones
Director

Pat Jones is chairman of the board of InsideSecure, a public French company that provides software solutions for embedded security and content and application protection, and serves on the board of directors of Fluidigm, a public company that makes instruments and solutions for immune-oncology research and Talend, a public big data software integration company. From 1998–2001, he was the Senior Vice President-Chief Financial Officer of Gemplus SA. Prior to Gemplus, he served as Intel Corp's Vice President of Finance-Corporate Controller from 1992-1998 during a period of phenomenal growth from $8 billion to over $25 billion in revenues. Mr. Jones holds a BA degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA degree from St Louis University. He has been a director of Vesta since 2009.

James L. Liang
Director

Jim Liang is an investor in early-stage technology and technology-enabled services companies. He is the Chairman of the Board of Medical Tracking Solutions, Inc. and serves on the board of directors of NeuroInitiative, LLC. He brings to Vesta over 30 years of strategy, finance and corporate development expertise gained from working at Morgan Stanley, where he advised and worked with a wide range of technology companies, and IBM, where he served as the head of strategy for its global services business. Mr. Liang has been investing in early stage companies since 2011, assisting his portfolio companies on matters ranging from business strategy, sales strategy, budgeting, capital raising and negotiating exits. Most recently, he was an investor and Board member of The Data Council, Inc., which was sold to Advantage Solutions, Inc. Mr. Liang graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy, holds a Sc.B. in Applied Mathematics/Economics from Brown University, and an MBA in Finance/Marketing from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He has been a director of Vesta since 2014.

David Mars
Director

David Mars has been with White Owl Capital since 2007, investing in early stage technology, healthcare and energy companies. He currently serves on the board of directors of Mass Appeal Media Inc., Turncare Inc., Windstream Energy LLC, and Global Potential, a non-profit. Prior to joining White Owl, Mr. Mars was the Director of Strategy & Business Development at IDT Telecom and one of the founders of Steamtunnels, Inc. He also worked as an Analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Mars is a graduate of Boston University, magna cum laude, and received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has been a director of Vesta since 2016.

Cass Traub
Director

Cass Traub has been with Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. since 2005 and is currently a Managing Director within Oaktree's Special Situation Group, overseeing investments in the telecom, media and technology sectors. In addition to Vesta, he currently serves on the board of directors of Tecta America Corp., Cyanco Holding Corp., HW Holdco LLC (Hanley Wood) and Coriant. Prior to joining Oaktree, Cass spent over two years as an Analyst at UBS Investment Bank, gaining experience in M&A, leveraged buyouts, initial public offerings and debt financings. Mr. Traub received an A.B. degree in Economics with an emphasis in Finance from Princeton University. He has been a director of Vesta since 2015.

William R. Ziegler, Esq.
Director

Bill Ziegler is a private venture capital investor and a director of several companies in numerous industries. Mr. Ziegler is Chairman of Shera International., iForce Group Ltd., Somerset Gas Transmission, Tablogix International Ltd., and Windstream Energy LLC. He also holds directorships in American Coradius, Inc. and La Crosse Milling Company. In addition, he is of counsel to the law firm of Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP. Mr. Ziegler holds a BA degree in Economics from Amherst College, an MBA degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and an LLB degree from the University of Virginia Law School. He has been Chairman of Vesta since 1996.
